My new grandson Zachariah has now arrived home in the UK from Malaysia. A long trip for one so small.

Furry caterpillars.
I was only commenting on Friday about the rarety of furry caterpillars. Used to find them all the time when I was a child. I did actually find one today whilst cutting back my geraniums. It is the larva of the White Ermine Moth.
A Clew of Worms
This is one collective noun I had to look up. never heard of it before. I found an enormous clew of worms in my compost bin. I now expect some excellent compost.
